Naomi works with other children’s writers as an editor and mentor. She spent eight years working in house for Penguin Random House and Hachette Children’s Books and five years working as a freelance editor and mentor for Cornerstones, Jericho Writers, Write Mentor and WhiteFox. She was also a judge for the Jericho Writers Prize which champions Black British picture book writers and a mentor for two of the runners up in 2023.

Naomi really enjoys working with writers to help them develop their stories and their craft. She provides developmental editing services ranging from written reports of manuscripts and assessments of submission packages to bespoke mentoring.
